Step 1 Execute "
" command using the
following parameter.
: Number of RAID Controller for which Refresh Battery
is set.
Ex) Refresh the battery (RAID Controller number: 2).
raidcmd refresh –c=2
Step 2 Execute the "
" command to display the confirmation message. Enter [Yes] to execute battery
refreshing. Enter [No] to cancel battery refreshing.
Scheduling Refresh Battery
You can register the task to schedule Refresh Battery using the Task Scheduler on Windows or cron on Linux or
VMware ESX.
If you are using the RAID Controller which supports the
Refresh Battery function, Universal
Refresh Battery in a regular manner according to the task registered.
(Example 1) Register the task to execute the batter refresh at AM 0:00 on April 1st in the Windows
environment.
Starting time AM 0:00
Execution command (Universal RAID Utility installation folder)\cli\raidcmd.exe refreshs
Execution account NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM
The Windows task can be used to change the schedule of executing Refresh Battery or delete tasks. For how
to use tasks, see the Windows help.
(Example 2) Register the task to execute the batter refresh at AM 0:00 on April 1st in the Linux or VMware
ESX environment.

Execution command /opt/nec/raidcmd/raidcmd refreshs

The functions of cron can be used to change the schedule of executing Refresh Battery or delete tasks. For
