Functions of raidcmd

This chapter describes the functions of the raidcmd.

Command Line

To use the raidcmd, specify a command and one or more

parameters for the command if necessary.

Executing the raidcmd without any command and its parameters indicates the version of the

raidcmd.

Returned Value from raidcmd

The returned value of the raidcmd is the result of executing the command.

Error Messages of raidcmd

When a command of the raidcmd terminates abnormally,

the relevant error message appears in the following format:

Use "help" command, displays the help of raidcmd.

Termination of raidcmd

In case of the operating system is Windows, raidcmd is the batch file in system folder (the batch file in system folder call

raidcmd binary in the installed folder of Universal RAID Utility). Therefore, if you terminate raidcmd by CTRL + C key, the

operating system displays the message as "Terminate batch job (Y/N)?". When displays this message, raidcmd binary is

terminated already.
