Installing Service Pack

 If the OS installation media contains Service Pack 1, you do not need to apply the service

pack again.

 You can install the Service Pack on the server. When the Service Pack is not attached to your

system, prepare it by yourself.

License authentication

License authentication is required depending on the installation of Windows.

For details, refer to 5.6 License Authentication.

Note

• Activate within 30 days following installation.

• A virtual product key is used when installing in a virtual environment.

It is not

used when directly installing an operating system to a physical server.
