* Ext. 2225 and others assigned in CM1B are the
Extension numbers that should be entered into the BRI
Terminal(s). Most BRI Terminals require a 10-digit
number.
If the BRI Terminals require a SPID [North America
Only], it is common to add a 3-digit number to the main
number.
For example:
Main number (1): 214-555-2225
Main number (2): 214-555-2226
SPID (1) : 214-555-2225123
SPID (2) : 214-555-2226123
SPIDs are required for NI-1 protocol and AT&T Point-to-
Multipoint. Devices that are set as AT&T Point-to-Point do
not use SPIDs.
