Read the message and follow the instructions.

- Confirm that no LAN cables are connected to the server at this

time.

If there are LAN cables connected to the server, remove them,

and press any key to continue the installation process.

Strike a key when ready . . .

15. <Only when the usage of the “NEC Express5800/ft series ft Update CD” is selected>

The message below will appear. Wait about 3 minutes until copying is completed.

IMPORTANT: When the usage of the “NEC Express5800/ft series ft Update CD” is

not selected, the above message will not appear. Go on to 16.

Copying necessary NEC Express5800/ft series system software to the

system drive... Approximately 3 minutes.

16. When message requesting for Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM appears, follow the

instruction on the screen and insert the Windows Server 2003 Enterprise Edition CD-ROM

into the CD-ROM drive.

17. When message for inputting Windows Server 2003 product ID appears, enter the product ID.

IMPORTANT: This message will not appear when the OS’s Backup CD-ROM is

used.

Insert the Windows Server 2003 CD-ROM

Strike a key when ready . . .

Necessary NEC Express5800/ft series software has been copied.

Input the WindowsServer2003 ProductID.

Note: Hyphens must be inserted.
