8.4 Cable Arm

With this component at rear side of the server, various cables are compactly combined.

NOTE:

 Need to use Slide Rail Attachment to use Cable Arm. This makes server depth longer, as shown in the

Dimensions.

 For calculation, considering LAN (UTP: without shield) is φ5mm in diameter at average, 1x FC cable

corresponds to 1x LAN cable, 1x SAS cable corresponds to 2x LAN cables, 1x SUV cable corresponds

to 4x LAN cables and 1 x USB Cable corresponds to 1 x LAN cable.

Remarks:

 With Cable Arm (110mm), the unit with more than 670mm in depth (from the front) cannot be located on

top of the server. Otherwise, need to have 1U between the unit and the server.
