NOTE:

 An optional RAID controller is required to configure RAID 0 or 1 on Linux operating systems.

 An optional RAID controller occupies one PCI slot.

 All hard drives within a RAID array should be of the same capacity and rotation speed.

 Mixing SAS and SATA hard drives in the same system is not supported.
